Step Up for Brain Injury: Move Together
This is an inclusive event. Wheelchairs, scooters, bikes, and other mobility devices are all welcome.ย June is Brain Injury Awareness Month.
Participants are invited to take part anytime between May 15 and June 30, making it easy to join in a way that works for you. For anyone in Victoria, we are holding an event on May 31, 2026 that includes moving through downtown to arrive at the BC Legislature where we will engage with public to build awareness in our province’s capital.
How your impact is shared:
The Step Up for Brain Injury: Move Togetherย is a province-wide initiative designed to raise awareness of brain injury, build community connection, and reduce stigma. It creates an opportunity for individuals, families, organizations, and communities to come together in a visible and meaningful way.
This initiative is aย shared revenue modelย designed to support participating organizations and community teams through team-based fundraising and collective impact. In addition to raising funds, the eventย strengthens community engagement and helps bring broader visibility to the realities of living with brain injury across British Columbia.

We encourage participants and organizations to dress in blue (or wear an organization’s t-shirt) andย hand out local materials. Please submitย photos toย info@brainstreams.caย so we can celebrate your community on our website and social media.ย
